Casita Prado is more than just a brand—it is a reflection of my journey as a designer, a mother, and a granddaughter. Inspired by my grandmother, G Prado, who immigrated to the United States from Ecuador, this brand carries her name and honors her legacy of resilience, resourcefulness, and creativity.

My love for fashion began at a young age, sitting beside her as she transformed old clothes into quilts and garments. She didn’t just teach me how to sew—she taught me the value of sustainability, intention, and seeing possibility in what others might discard. From her, I learned that true creativity isn’t about making something new, but about reimagining what already exists

At Casita Prado, we merge sustainability with the bold energy of streetwear, creating pieces that carry a message of empowerment, unity, and hope. We use fabric remnants that would otherwise go to waste, collaborate with local Latine artists, and strive to keep as much of our design, production, and printing processes local as possible. By supporting our local circular economy, we’re not just making clothes—we’re fostering a movement toward a more just and intentional future.
